Blue Beetle is not coming to Max in September 2023

If you’re hoping to stream Blue Beetle on Max this September, we have some disappointing news for you as the movie is not slated to stream this month.

This August, the DC Universe welcomed a new hero to the mix with the introduction of Jaime Reyes aka the Blue Beetle.

Although critics have been a bit rougher on the movie giving it a 78% Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has been beloved by audiences helping it to earn a 92% Audience Score. Its 92% Audience Score is the highest audience score for any DC theatrical release from the DCEU, high praise from DC fans who have clearly fallen in love with DC’s underdog hero.

While the film hasn’t exactly broken big at the box office, it has recouped its initial production budget meaning it might be the first DC movie in quite some time to actually earn the studio money.

This little superhero movie that could has already won over millions of fans and we’re sure it will become even more popular once it arrives on Max. The bad news is that fans who have been waiting to watch the movie until it begins streaming won’t be able to do so this month as Blue Beetle is not coming to Max in September. The good news is that fans shouldn’t have to wait too much longer beyond September for the movie to begin streaming!

Blue Beetle streaming release date predictions

Although Warner Bros. Discovery has not yet released a streaming release date for Blue Beetle, it is expected the DC Comics movie will be coming to Max sometime in late October 2023.

When looking at the release timeline of DC’s latest three theatrical releases Black Adam, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and The Flash, the three movies arrived on Max a respective 56, 67, and 70 days after they originally hit theaters. Using this window, we’d be looking at a release window between October 13 and October 27.

We know that Max tends to release movies on Fridays which means Blue Beetle is likely to arrive on the streaming service on either October 13, October 20, or October 27.

As we saw with The Flash, it might not be until just a few weeks prior to its release that we learn for certain when Blue Beetle will be available to stream on Max. However, we’re going to be shocked if the movie does not arrive sometime during the month of October.
