6. Ryan Potter

Ryan Potter may been busy playing a different DC Comics character for the past half-decade but that doesn’t make him any less perfect for the role of Terry McGinnis in a Batman Beyond project. If anything, it makes him more suited to the role than most.

Potter is a well-documented “nerd” and spent a lot of time campaigning to the folks at Warner Bros. to cast him in the DC Extended Universe as Robin. Though that never happened (because, well, Robin never showed up in the DCEU), his persistence, talent and overall passion eventually saw him cast as Garfield “Gar” Logan/Beast Boy in DC Universe’s Titans.

He’s an incredibly engaging performer, ensuring that viewers quickly fall in love with his characters – something he pulled off to perfection as Beast Boy in the four seasons of Titans. That would undoubtedly be a great asset if he was cast as Terry in the DCEU.

He’s showcased that he can thrive playing larger-than-life comic book characters, so why not make his dream come true and cast him as Batman’s apprentice on the big screen. No, it’s not the apprentice he originally campaigned for, but it’s one that he could absolutely shine with.
