What happens when two nerds get on the phone and talk about Star Wars? Opinions, a lesson learned, and a theory.
My friend Bolter from Beefsnake Nerdcast and I recently got on a call and decided to talk about Star Wars, as nerds usually do.
We were both still reeling from watching episode 4 of Ahsoka, “Fallen Jedi”, and we both noticed some things and connected others. While discussing some reveals and little nuggets of information dropped by the series, we found ourselves deep into a conversation regarding three specific topics. In our deep-dive chat about the Star Wars universe, we kind of touched on some hot topics that did sprout from the ongoing Ahsoka series, as well as some that were a little better explained by the good ol’ lore we love so much (even though it’s not very stable).
What were we talking about? So glad you asked.
Let’s take a look at these “theories”, per se, that had us questioning our own Star Wars lore knowledge, made us dive into both The Jedi Path and Book of the Sith books, go back and check things across the entire on-screen existence of Star Wars, and want to talk to the masses about it.
Now, mind you, we’re fans, not experts. I am not claiming that our findings are set in stone – I’m bringing up three things that feel like are more and more clear as the lore goes on. We could very well be entirely wrong, and that’s fine. If two nerds can’t chat about one of their favorite franchises, then what good is it to be a nerd?
Anyway, enough explaining. Let’s get to the points.
