3. Morgan Elsbeth is very dangerous

Morgan Elsbeth is a human Nightsister survivor. But she’s not just your average Dark Side witch – she actually has a power level that could put her on par with Mother Talzin (rest in peace, Mother) herself.

Why should we care? Because Morgan has something most Sith and Jedi don’t: the potential to use dark magick in a wide range. She could absolutely amass power and influence by forging alliances or even rebuilding the Nightsister community. Her particular set of skills could make her a wildcard in the galactic power struggle to come. Imagine armies of reanimated husks, much like our good friend Sith Inquisitor Marrok, or barriers made of pure dark magick. Morgan could quickly and sneakingly become a threat that neither the Sith nor the Jedi are truly prepared for, making her a game-changer in the ongoing Star Wars saga.

Morgan being a Nightsister opens up a plethora of intriguing possibilities as demonstrated by her control over Marrok. Morgan’s mastery over magick is formidable. Much like Mother Talzin, who had a command over necromancy, spirit manipulation, and other dark magicks, Morgan’s ability to control undead beings and presumably other dark powers would allow her to operate in realms of the Star Wars universe that few dare to tread. Should Morgan take a similar approach as Mother Talzin did and forge dark alliances, or even rebuild the Nightsister community, she could recreate the sisterhood with her as its new Matriarch, and I am absolutely here for it.

The planet Dathomir itself and Nightsister magicks are deeply tied to the sense of sisterhood and shared purpose, something Morgan could absolutely explore and adopt to raise an order rivaling the Sith and Jedi, but operating on entirely different principles. The nature of her powers offers her tactical and strategic advantages that are unique even within the context of the Star Wars universe. For instance, her skills with necromancy would give her an edge in gathering intelligence, infiltration, or creating armies that are more expendable and controllable than living soldiers. Mother Talzin was known to use her magicks in many different and creative ways, including battle spells and protective barriers – all things Morgan could definitely develop.

So there you have it – an opinion, a lesson learned, and a theory.
