3. Ra’s al Ghul

We can all admit that Ra’s al Ghul is one of the most intriguing villains in the DC Comics universe. This guy’s got it all – charisma, intelligence, and a plan to save the world, no matter how twisted it may be.

Ra’s is no ordinary baddie. He’s been around for centuries thanks to the Lazarus Pits, which keep him young. He’s an eco-terrorist with a sense of purpose drives him. As DC Comics fans know, he genuinely believes he’s doing the world a favor with his twisted tactics. He feels that by cleansing the world by doing some sick things, including wiping out a chunk of the population.

Then there’s his daughter, Talia, who’s head over heels for Batman. It’s a complex, love-hate dynamic that adds layers to Ra’s character. He’s even found a way to make his daughter hate him and his grandson, Damien Wayne, a once loyal servant to an enemy.

Ra’s al Ghul’s League of Assassins aids in his global terrorist adventures. We’ve seen him come to life on Gotham, Arrow, and Batman Begins, let’s hope the DC Universe can capitalize off of his coolness.
