Episode 5 of Ahsoka focused heavily on Lady Tano unconscious in a dream state. While there, she’s young and fighting in the Clone War with Anakin Skywalker. Anakin says he’s there to teach her. The lesson comes with the question of whether or not she wants to live or die.

Throughout her vision, she sees Anakin as the master she remembers him. As the vision progresses, she sees him as Darth Vader. Eventually, the two duel with Ahsoka coming away victorious. Before she leaves, Ahsoka tells Anakin she chooses to live. That’s when she’s found by Hera Syndulla drowning underwater.

Ahsoka knows that something is up with Sabine Wren. While figuring out what to do, Lady Tano looks up and sees the Purrgil in the sky. That’s when she figures out how to find Wren. She’s going to talk to the Purrgil. Since the hyperspace ring uses the Purrgil’s flight pattern, it makes sense. Lady Tano is successful and moves her ship inside the Purrgil where she hopes they’ll lead her to Wren.

Wren, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, and Morgan Elsbeth were absent in episode 5. That will change. This writer fully expects the next episode to focus on what the antagonists and Wren have been up to. It wouldn’t be surprising if Ahsoka wasn’t in this episode until the end. This will leave episode 7 to be the villains’ big win and the season finale to determine what’s next for the Star Wars universe.
