Disco Inferno

You can say whatever you want about Disco Inferno, but he was always entertaining. Unlike a lot of wrestlers, Inferno always seemed to give it his all. His gimmick was funny, he always committed to the bit, and his losing never got old. It made his wins that much better.

It’s an awful gimmick. Nevertheless, it worked then and it would work today. Disco (the music) is still popular enough. People to enjoy and cheer for If Disco Inferno (the wrestler) today. If he was in his prime, his merch would fly off the shelves, people would boo him, and he’d always be a contender for a title. Maybe not a world title, but a title nonetheless.

Bastian Booger

WWE character rating: F-

There isn’t much to say here. Bastian Booger was disgusting. He was fat and sloppy, and his name had booger in it. The grossness doesn’t end there. His finishing move was him dropping his crotch on your face. For the love of Odin, who thought this up, and why did it last as long as it did?!

Tommy Dreamer eats weird things

Real name: Thomas James Laughlin

WWE character rating: F-

Tommy Dreamer is a wrestling legend. The fact that this gimmick was approved was insulting to ECW fans. Tommy Dreamer was a guy who, by all accounts, shouldn’t be as good as he was. He doesn’t fit the look of a professional wrestler. He resembles fans more than the performers. Overachieving doesn’t begin to cover it.

Tommy Dreamer being on this list isn’t a slight to the icon that he is. This is more of a shot at the WWE dropping the ball. Instead of playing up on his popularity, they gave him a character that consumed weird things.  Where were they going with this?! This isn’t just disappointing. It’s an affront to what he was.
