2. Kitty Pryde

Kitty Pryde, aka Shadowcat, is a well-known and beloved member of the X-Men. She’s known for her phasing abilities that allow her to pass through solid objects. What attracts fans to her is her energetic and fearless personality.

If you watched Fox’s movies, you couldn’t tell. They butchered her as a character. In Fox’s franchise, she was about as useful as a spoon at a salad bar. They underutilized her, focusing more on Wolverine and other mutants, to say the least. She was a glorified cameo, and I’m here to tell you—Kitty deserved better.

In the comics, she’s a core member, a leader who is a bravery personified. That doesn’t happen with the MCU. Oh, and her iconic romance with Colossus, well, that was also largely ignored. We need the MCU to rectify this and give Kitty Pryde the spotlight she deserves. That can’t happen in the first film.

Kitty needs to be presented as the next leader of the group. She deserves to be slowly incorporated into the team. One of the best ways to do so would be a mini-series. Fans would quickly become familiar with Shadowcat and fall in love with a character who embodies what it means to be a hero.
