Hulk: All of the Mark Ruffalo Marvel movies and shows ranked worst to best

4. The Avengers
The Avengers premiered in theaters in 2012, and it was the first time the Marvel Cinematic Universe felt like it cohesive force that could be something more than standalone superhero stories. Bruce Banner and Hulk play a huge role in bringing the team together. He’s the brains and the brawn if you know what I mean.
It’s the first time that we also get to see the dichotomy of Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Banner is unable to keep control, for the most part, while he’s Hulk, which is a huge risk for the Avengers as a team. Most of the movie revolves around Banner trying to keep control, but we also get to see Hulk let off the leash. He’s the strongest of the Avengers, and he’s the most apt to deal with Loki’s forces in the Battle of New York.
Overall, The Avengers is a great movie! If Infinity War and Endgame weren’t so good, The Avengers would easily be one of the top movies of the MCU. It’s right there, and Hulk is a big reason why this movie is so good.
Up next is the third Avengers movie, Infinity War.
