Hulk: All of the Mark Ruffalo Marvel movies and shows ranked worst to best

2. Avengers: Endgame
It took me everything I had not to make Avengers: Endgame the top movie on the list. It’s one of the best MCU movies so far, and Hulk has a major role in reversing history, winning the war against Thanos, and bringing back all of our favorite people who were killed by Thanos.
In Avengers: Endgame, Ruffalo finally gets to play a completely balanced Hulk. Bruce Banner and Hulk combine strength and intellect that allows Hulk to stay big and green, but he also can access all of Bruce Banner. He’s managed his emotions, and he’s able to contribute to the larger scientific discussions that take place before the mission to retrieve the Infinity Stones from various points in history. It’s definitely a different version of the character than we’ve seen before, and it works really well.
Hulk is able to inject some life and laughs into a very intense story. This is a make-or-break moment for the history of the world, but Hulk is bringing personality, which is a very welcome addition to this dark and brooding cast. Hulk and Ant-Man provide most of that humor.
Avengers: Endgame is probably better than the top movie on this list, pound for pound, but I think Ruffalo and Hulk are better in Thor: Ragnarok than they are in Endgame, and that’s why it’s the No. 1 movie on the list.
