Loki season 2 episode 1 release time in India: When does Loki premiere in India?

With Loki on the move to a new time, fans in India are more curious than ever to know what the Loki season 2 release time in India will be. 

Everyone’s favorite trickster is back and ready for a brand new season full of twists and time-traveling adventures! More than two years after its first season took the world by storm, Loki returns for its second season making Disney Plus history in the process becoming the first live-action Marvel show to return for a second season.

Season 2 is set to pick up in the aftermath of the season 1 finale which upped the stakes in several unexpected ways. Now in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority, Loki must team up with both new and returning allies including Mobius and Hunter B-15, as he “navigates the ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.”

Loki season 2 release time in India (9 pm ET to IST)

Leave it to the God of Mischief to once again shake up the Disney Plus release strategy for a Marvel Studios series. After becoming the first Marvel show to release on Wednesdays, Loki season 2 is about to become the first Marvel show to release weekly in primetime with new episodes arriving every Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET in the United States.

This is a major departure from the usual release strategy which sees new episodes drop at 3 a.m. ET on Disney Plus. It’s one that has also caused some confusion among fans across the globe who are bracing for a major change in when they can expect the new episodes of Loki to be released — including fans in India.

Typically, Marvel shows have arrived at 12:30. p.m. IST; however, with Loki releasing earlier in the US this means a change to the show’s release time in India. New episodes of the show will now be released in the early morning hours meaning fans will have the option of watching new episodes of Loki in the morning should they choose to wake up early enough to catch the episodes at 6:30 a.m. IST.

That’s right, new episodes of Loki will be released at 6:30 a.m. IST in India moving forward and with new episodes dropping in the evening hours on Thursday nights in the US this means new episodes will arrive on Fridays in India:
