Episode 1 of Gen V ended with Luke Riordan, a.k.a. Golden Boy, going on a rampage. Luke found out his mentor, Professor Richard “Rich Brink” Brinkerhoff, lied about his brother’s whereabouts. After discovering this, he lost control and killed him.

In episodes 2 and 3, viewers learn that Godolkin University is like any other college. You’ll meet some amazing people who may become your closest friends. You’ll also come across the most deplorable people ever. The kind of students and faculty that will exploit your tragedies and losses to get clicks.

It was an intense way to premiere a series, but this is The Boys universe. It isn’t shocking. Things are going to get emotional, bloody, and disgusting. That being said, be advised, they’re also probably going to get worse.

Episode 4 of Gen V will begin with Emma Meyer (aka Little Cricket) trying to escape The Woods. This is where kids with powers are being held against their will by extreme, violent measures. Now Emma will have to escape and get Luke’s brother out as well. It may seem like a foregone conclusion that she’ll survive, but, again, this is a spin-off of The Boys. Nothing is guaranteed. Emma could die within the first ten minutes; who knows with this show.
