Are you ready for some mischief? I know I am! It’s been over two years since Marvel Studios’ Loki made its unforgettable presence felt on Disney Plus. The series, which is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, brought back Tom Hiddleston’s nefarious trickster, giving us a very different kind of adventure from anything Loki had ever been involved in before.

The God of Mischief was assigned a new Glorious Purpose when he encountered the Time Variance Authority, who needed his help taking down another Loki. Little did he know he would begin to fall for that other Loki variant. She was named Sylvie and she wanted to show the falsehood behind the TVA and their apparent Time Keepers.

The gang are back together for another outing, making Loki the first of the live-action MCU shows to return for a second season. We’re all expecting it to be one of the most important chapters in both Phase Five and in the whole Multiverse Saga, particularly because the first season set much of the saga in motion. And we already know that Kang the Conqueror’s presence will be felt this season.
