Tom Hiddleston as Loki

Let’s kick things off with the man of the moment; the MCU’s illustrious trickster himself. Tom Hiddleston reprises his title role Loki, returning in a leading capacity to play the character in his seventh performance as the God of Mischief.

When we last saw The Trickster, he was unsuccessfully attempting to stop Sylvie from killing He Who Remains. The fallout of that brought him back to the TVA and his friend Mobius, who no longer recognized him, and now the pair are going to have to figure out a way to find Sylvie and repair the timeline before Kang the Conqueror’s reign reaches unbeatable heights (if it hasn’t already!).

Hiddleston is, of course, best known for playing Loki, originating the role in Thor before going on to appear in The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Loki season 1. An esteemed actor of both the stage and screen, he has also starred in BBC’s The Hollow Crown film series, The Night Manager, and Kong: Skull Island. In 2020, he earned a Tony Awards nomination for his performance in Broadway debut Betrayal.

He’s one of the fan-favorite actors in the MCU and certainly made the role of Loki his own. We can’t wait to see him let loose in Loki season 2 all over again.
