Season 1 of Loki concluded with Sylvie killing He Who Remains. Before dying, he explained that he was the one thing keeping his other variants from taking over. When Loki returned to the Time Variance Authority (TVA), everything was different. No one knew who he was and a statue of Kang was erected inside their base. If that wasn’t bad enough, the trailer for Loki season 2 shows tough times are coming for the God of Mischief.

Loki is being violently pulled in and out of time. It’s an anomaly that shouldn’t happen while he’s in the TVA. This must have been caused by Sylvie killing Nathaniel Richards. If this is anything like the Spider-Verse movies, this could kill him.

Sylvie could be the key to helping fix her variant. Knowing what happened after she killed He Who Remains could be the key to fixing his time displacement. That conversation should be interesting. They haven’t spoken since they kissed and emotions will be high.

Hopefully, viewers will see multiple versions of Kang in the Disney Plus series. The trailer already showed one version of him. It’s the same one from the post-credit scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, who is known as Victor Timely. Also, the mid-credit scene of that movie showed an untold number of Kang variants. For all we know, one or more of them were seen in the Loki trailer and we didn’t know it. We’ll have to wait and see how many versions of Kang appear and what’s next for the master of time.
