6. Natalie Irons

For all of Superman and Lois‘ first season, we were led to believe that Natalie Irons, daughter of “The Stranger” John Henry Irons, had died on her earth when the evil Superman reigned supreme on it. But, as it turns out, a trip to another world (and a nod to the Arrowverse’s Crisis On Infinite Earths) would change all of that.

Natalie showed up in the season 1 finale and instantly became a strong presence on the show. She struggled with the fact that Lois looked like her mother and that her friends on this earth didn’t recognize her. But she also found a new family in the Kents and the Lanes, formed a lovely friendship with Sarah, and found a place as a hero. That place was by her dad’s side.

Tayler Buck is a force on-screen, delivering a performance that highlights Natalie’s strength of character as well as her subtle vulnerabilities. The character doesn’t always get the screentime she deserves, but that doesn’t make us root for her any less. She’s an incredible addition to the show who has been pivotal in stopping threats such as Ally Allston and Bruno Mannheim, and we’re so thankful for her.

The more Natalie, the better.
