15. Lucy Lane

Supergirl fans were thrilled to see Jenna Dewan reprise her role as Lucy Lane on Superman and Lois‘ second season. But this Lucy wasn’t the accomplished soldier and DEO agent that her Arrowverse counterpart was. No, this Lucy struggled with her own personal demons and found solace in Ally Allston – a woman who capitalized on her insecurities and sought to manipulate her into cutting positive influences out of her life. One of those positive influences was Lois, who made it her mission to take Ally down.

The show did a great job of showcasing the conflict between Lucy and her sister Lois, but the fact that Lucy was only a guest role limited what they could accomplish with the character. She would disappear for episodes and only conveniently show up when the plot needed her to do something for Ally, so it often had us predicting the outcomes of those betrayals before they actually happened.

That said, Dewan did a super job as the more nuanced version of Lucy and she had amazing on-screen chemistry with Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois. We just wish she was a more regular part of the show to help flesh out some of those story beats.
