Even as news breaks that Daredevil: Born Again won’t be gracing our screens in 2023, the flames of anticipation are far from being put out.

The MCU has an undeniable knack for connecting all the dots and tying together all of its narratives. With shows like Echo and potential returns like The Punisher in the mix, every change in schedule is like moving a piece on a giant chessboard. Everything’s connected.

While some might see these delays as potential roadblocks, there’s also the possibility that Marvel is just taking a breather, making sure every detail is perfect as they wait for the necessary strikes to be resolved so production and filming may continue (or begin).

Thanks to some fresh fan art from the likes of artist MJD Artworks blessing our timelines, Daredevil’s fiery spirit feels as alive as ever, reminding us why we’re still hyped for his grand return. It’s a tiny pinch to the heart knowing that we won’t see the awaited Disney+ series this year, but a bit more waiting might just be the silver lining there.

And let’s not forget – Daredevil’s not entirely out of the spotlight. Remember that rush of excitement when he popped up in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law? That thrill is very much alive. The creative fan art, doodles, and sketches only amplify it. They’re like a collective cheer, a testament to the amount of patience fans have when it comes to their fandoms being represented right – we can wait.

So, what’s next for the beloved hero in red? How will he blend into the MCU and its shenanigans? Only time will tell. But with all the love and eagerness shown by fans, it’s clear Daredevil might be momentarily out of frame, but he’s forever in our hearts.

And when he does return in 2024, it better be with a bang worthy of all this wait. Marvel, we’re trusting you.
