Deadpool 3: Taylor Swift shines as Dazzler in stunning new image

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest celebrities on the planet, and this fan cast would see her join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as an X-Men hero.

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest celebrities on the planet, with her name in the news recently due to her romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Her name has also circulating across sports media, which has seen her appear at NFL games with a number of famous faces.

Most recently, a trio of notable celebrities appeared with Swift at an NFL game to watch Kelce and the Chiefs play. This group consisted of Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman. This instantly resulted in fan speculation running wild, as Levy is directing the upcoming Deadpool 3 and both Reynolds and Jackman are starring as Deadpool and Wolverine respectively.

Many believe that Swift could be appearing alongside Reynolds and Jackman in the upcoming MCU film. Swift has been rumored in the past to appear in X-Men films as the character Dazzler, a fan cast that many fans would like to see become a reality.

Marvel fan art envisions Taylor Swift as Dazzler

One such fan is BossLogic, who recently shared a stunning piece of fan art showcasing what Taylor Swift could look like as the mutant known as Dazzler. The costume used looks like a modern version of the character’s costume, with Swift suiting the role well.

Dazzler is a mutant that uses sound vibrations to create beams of energy and light and she is often linked to be connected to music and a member of the X-Men. The character has not received much love in X-Men films, only briefly appearing in Dark Phoenix. 

The casting of Swift could be a fun cameo to have in Deadpool 3, a film that seems to be utilizing the multiverse as a plot point. While nothing has been confirmed by Swift or Marvel Studios, it is not out of the realm of possibility that we could see Swift appear as she has done some acting in the past.

Swift currently has a film scheduled to be released documenting her concert tour titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour which is set to release worldwide on October 13. Deadpool 3 is currently being scheduled for release in May 2024.
