1. He is the greatest of all time

WWE might have spent the past decade trying to force feed us the lie that John Cena is the greatest of all time (and he is certainly among them), but that is simply not true. That title belongs to The Undertaker, and it’s really time that we have that conversation more often.

While The Deadman has always found himself listed among the all-time greatest, the truth is that he deserves to be at the top of that list. Not only does he have the greatest gimmick in wrestling history, the man enjoyed a 30 year career in one of the most gruelling professions of all time, and wrestled some of his best matches in the final decade of it. That is unheard of. To spend so long at the top of your game is quite simply phenomenal.

When you think of WWE’s most legendary moments, The Undertaker is in so many of them. When you think of WWE’s best matches, The Undertaker has been part of so many of them (heck, he and Shawn Michaels wrestled three of the company’s best matches ever). And if you picked your favorite WWE superstar from any era, The Undertaker has probably crossed paths with them.

Bigger stars may have come and gone in the company’s glory days, but ‘Taker outlasted all of them, and somehow got better with age. He hit his physical prime in his 40s for goodness sake! Furthermore, he evolved with time, gave us an Undertaker for each era, and was the last man standing from his own era, and he even outlasted multiple generations of superstars that came after him.

There is no overstating it: The Undertaker is the greatest of all time. Nobody else comes close.
