If you’re ready to watch the second episode of Loki season 2, here’s how long you can expect it to be.

The season 2 premiere of Loki was worth the wait. More than two years after we last caught up with The God of Mischief and all of his frenemies at the Time Variance Authority, the show returned with a jam-packed debut for its second season – and it’s one that we will remember for quite some time.

From the introduction of Ouroboros to the reveal that He Who Remains was in charge of the TVA all along, there was a lot to take in from last week’s premiere. But even though we’re still digesting all of it, we now turn our attention to the second episode for what is sure to be a memorable outing.

Sylvie is in the wind (or, well, Broxton Oklahoma to be exact), the TVA is on the hunt for her, and it’s up to Loki and Mobius to track her down before it’s too late and figure out the real mystery behind the TVA. If you’re wondering whether the Disney Plus series will manage to fit all of that into its second season 2 episode, the runtime might be able to help shed some light on that for you.

How long is Loki season 2 episode 2?

If you’re hoping for Loki season 2 episode 2 to be a relatively quick watch, you’ll be glad to know that it reportedly has a respectable runtime of 49 minutes (44 minutes without credits). That makes it just slightly longer than the season premiere, and just ahead of the standard length of an episode of broadcast television.

The report comes from X (formerly Twitter) user Cryptic HD Quality, who has been accurate with runtimes for various Disney Plus shows in the past, particularly The Mandalorian season 3 and Ahsoka. In fact, their reported runtime for the season 2 premiere of Loki was spot on, so it’s a safe bet to say that the sophomore outing runtime is accurate as well.

The show’s episode lengths varied in season 1, with one running for a shorter runtime of 38 minutes while its longest, episode 2, was closer to an hour, coming in around 56 minutes. The show on average, however, usually has a runtime in the high 40s. The second episode of season 2 looks to continue that trend.
