Loki spoilers: Does Loki season 2 episode 2 have a post-credits scene?

We’re back for another adventure with the God of Mischief, but the question on everyone’s mind is: Does Loki season 2 episode 2 feature any post-credits scenes?

There is a wonderful world of mischief taking place beneath the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now. Of course it involves the God of Mischief, as Loki is back for another adventure through both time and the multiverse in the hopes of figuring out the great mystery behind the Time Variance Authority, and the role that He Who Remains, a.k.a. Kang the Conqueror, has to play in all of that.

Yes, Disney Plus‘ Loki returned last week with its season 2 premiere, bringing the MCU show back to screens for the first time in two years (and making history as the first MCU show to return for another season). It was an appropriately bonkers premiere that set the stage for what is gearing up to be an interesting season, with its post-credits scene raising some eyebrows (and some questions) about where the story is going.

Naturally, the release of the second episode brings forth that almighty question that MCU fans are more than used to asking about every single Marvel Studios property at this point: Is there a reason to stick around after the credits?

If you’re hoping to see a little teaser after the credits of Loki season 2’s second episode, we’re sorry to report that no, there isn’t.

Unfortunately, the show opted against featuring any kind of post-credits scene this week. It’s a shame as last week’s was a pretty great set up for what’s to come that also featured some a major nod to Loki’s brother Thor, but this week there is none. If you’ve been keeping up with all of the Marvel shows on the streamer, though, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you.

While the vast majority of Marvel’s movies have featured some form of post or mid-credits scenes to set up the next chapter of the shared universe, it’s been a little harder to predict with the Disney Plus shows.

Most of them feature some form of post-credits scene at some point throughout their episodic runs, but it’s usually sporadic, with most episodes of each respective show not having any until the penultimate or final episode. Some, however, have featured little teases after their premieres.

Loki season 2 is now streaming new episodes on Disney Plus every Thursday night at 9/8c.
