The trailer for Spider-Man: Gang War was released by Marvel Comics and it looks intense.

Back in July, Marvel Comics announced the next crossover starring Spider-Man. The series is called Gang War and it will feature some of New York’s biggest supervillains. Marvel.com teased the plot and revealed that the heroes have 48 hours to defeat the gangs of New York.

At the time, there wasn’t a lot of information to go on. The biggest news was the comic books it would appear in. They are, Luke Cage: Gang War (four-part mini-series) Spider-Woman (four-part mini-series), Miles Morales: Spider-Man No. 12-16, Daredevil: Gang War (four-part mini-series), and Deadly Hands of Kung- -Fu: Gang War (three-part mini-series).

Marvel has now released a trailer (that you can see above) showing more of what to expect in Spider-Man: Gang War. Among the things teased were the villains involved. Kingpin, Beetle, Tombstone, Ringmaster, White Rabbit, Hobgoblin, Black Mariah, Shang Chi, Owl, Madam Masque, Typhoid Mary, and Hammerhead are highlighted at the beginning of the trailer. However, They won’t be the only ones. Throughout the trailer, more villains show up. There’s even a moment where Tombstone is fighting alongside the heroes. Considering a gang tried to kill him at his daughter’s wedding (Amazing Spider-Man No. 31/925), this isn’t shocking.

These won’t be the only villains in this series. There will likely be surprises throughout Spider-Man: Gang War. Despite an overabundance of superheroes, New York is prime real estate for criminals. They can make a ton of money doing deplorable things. And, if they get caught, they won’t spend a night in jail or they’ll break out. Also, with Wilson Fisk being the head of the Hellfire Club, there will certainly be mutants involved. Even with the Fall of X going on, they won’t let Fisk commit crimes under their noses.

With 48 hours to stop the war, look for the series to have a lot of violence, explosions, and more. Hopefully, it will be as incredible as the trailer looks.
