Marvel Comics: It’s Avengers vs Vampires in Blood Hunt

The Vampires will be on the loose in Marvel Comics’ crossover, Blood Hunt, and it’s up to the Avengers to stop them. At New York Comic-Con 2023, Marvel Comics just announced the time for Vampires to rise has come in Blood Hunt.

The Vampires have a nation where Blade is the sheriff. All seemed peaceful. They hadn’t gotten out of control or attempted to take over the world. The ones who were far and few in between. Nevertheless, no one thought it would stay that way forever.

Vampires have always been a part of Marvel Comics. Dracula and Storm had a weird “relationship,” the X-Men defeated them before they could infect mutants, and Deadpool beat Dracula and marries his betrothed (Deadpool: The Gauntlet). Those are three examples over time. During Jason Aaron’s Avengers, Vampires were given more acknowledgment than ever.

Blood Hunt will be released in the spring of 2024, according to Marvel.

The Marvel Comics teaser shows a lot going on without saying much. It was vampires fighting multiple heroes. Among them were the big guns like the Avengers, Doctor Strange, and, of course, Blade. Unfortunately, some of the heroes are defeated. Tony Stark was getting bitten, Vision’s face was being torn apart, and Tigra was being attacked by Dracula. At the end of the video, the Earth was turning red as “Blood Hunt. Who will bite it?” appears on the screen.

This was only the teaser. When the full-length trailer debuts, things are going to look even worse for the Avengers and the heroes of Marvel Comics. Since this will be a crossover, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes won’t be the only ones involved. Miles Morales was also in the trailer. If he’s in the middle of this, then we can expect Peter Parker to show up, as well. It should also be noted that in Miles Morales: Spider-Man No. 10, Miles goes up against a vampire and is saved by Blade. This will come into play during Blood Hunt.

Also, recent major events have included the X-Men. Even with the end of the Krakoa era coming, Marvel’s Mightiest Mutants will be affected. It helps that mutants like Storm, Wolverine, and Cyclops have a history with the undead bloodsuckers. Plus, Dracula has a past negative with Deadpool. There’s no way the Merc with a Mouth won’t be involved and making blood-sucking jokes all of the way.
