American Horror Story season 12 returns with the fifth episode of its Delicate season. Here’s who you can the midseason finale here.
American Horror Story: Delicate has been running over the past four weeks and now the twelfth season’s midseason finale has arrived. The first three episodes of this season were average at best. Thankfully, episode 4 was fantastic and reminded everyone that this can still be an elite show.
We flashed back to England in 1555. A queen gave birth to her first child. She’s rocking back and forth singing a strange version of “Hush Little Baby”. As the queen’s sister tries to talk to her, the queen says her baby looks like a monster. Then, two unnamed women walk in (played by Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman) arrive and take the child (and also curse the queen’s sister to be barren).
In the present, those same women become the crisis PR team for Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts). The weirdness doesn’t end there, though. At the end of the episode, Anna eats a dead raccoon. The same one she put into a baby’s crib earlier.
The end of part 1 could determine whether or not this season is worth continuing. It took four episodes for the show to pick up. This isn’t normal for American Horror Story. Usually, the show starts off strong during the premiere. If not, it’s easy to stop watching the rest of the show. AHS: Cult is a perfect example of this as it fell off pretty quickly. The good news is everything that just happened should lead to an exciting midseason finale.
