From Bridgerton to Batman? That’s the possible scenario for the next potential Bruce Wayne and Batman on the list, Regé-Jean Page.

Page, who starred as Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, in the first season of Bridgerton, left the series following the first season. Since then, he’s appeared in action-heavy roles in The Gray Man and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. It also looks like Page is also in consideration to play the next James Bond, replacing Daniel Craig after his five-movie run as 007.

Obviously, Page couldn’t play the Bat and the Bond at the same time, but he’d look great as Batman. Check out this fan art with Page as a more retro Batman, via @marvel_dc_fan_art.

There’s no doubt Page would make a great Batman. Does he have the presence and star power to carry one of the most successful film franchises of all time? I think so! Page is only 35 years old, so he’s right in the sweet spot to become the next Batman for the next decade if that’s the plan. We still don’t know what DC, Gunn, and Safran have planned.

All in all, I’d be happy with Page as the next Batman. He’s been great in every role I’ve seen him in.
