Aquaman is one of the original members of the Justice League from DC Comics. The character, Arthur “AC” Curry/Aquaman, has been in TV and film for more than 50 years. With a new Aquaman movie, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, coming later this year, we ranked the best Aquaman actors from best to worst.

Aquaman first appeared on screen in The Superman animated series in the 1960s, but the character didn’t really become popular until Super Friends, which premiered in 1973. It’s been a long time since then, and we’ve seen a lot of different takes on the character.

For this ranking, we included both voice actors and live-action stars who appeared as Arthur “AC” Curry/Aquaman. Obviously, the most successful of the stars has been Jason Momoa, the DC Extended Universe star. He’s starred in three and soon-to-be four DC movies as Arthur Curry/Aquaman. He’s also made some cameo appearances in a few other DC projects.

Let’s get the list started with one of the most recent voice stars of Aquaman, Scott Rummell.

6. Scott Rummell

  • Justice League
  • Justice League: Unlimited

Scott Rumell starred as Arthur “AC” Curry/Aquaman in two of the most popular DC animated series, Justice League and Justice League: Unlimited. For many fans who haven’t tuned in for Smallville and the DC Extended Universe, Rummell is the only Aquaman they know, and he’s so good as a voice actor in both of these series.

Justice League premiered in 2001 and ran through 2003. Justice League: Unlimited aired in 2004.

Like Callaway and Alden, Rummell also did an incredible job bringing Arthur Curry/Aquaman to life.

Up next are some of the original Aquaman stars. Yep, there are two!
