There’s no doubt who the best Aquaman is, and it’s Jason Momoa. He has appeared in three movies as Aquaman. Well, technically, he’s appeared in five movies, but he’s uncredited in The Flash and Zack Snyder’s Justice League is basically Justice League, right? I mean, it’s way different, but it’s still Justice League. 

Momoa is built for this role. Physically, his presence is staggering, even compared to some of the other DC heroes. That’s what you want in a role like this, someone who can hold their own against the major forces of the ocean. He’s also a terrific actor, in my opinion. He plays similar roles in most of his movies, but he has some serious acting chops. I can’t wait to see that on display more in Aquaman and the Last Kingdom, which is coming to theaters later this year.

Momoa is a bright spot in all of the DC movies he’s appeared in, but it’s just unfortunate that the DC movies featuring Momoa as Aquaman just aren’t very good. Hopefully, that will change in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Fingers crossed!
