Doctor Strange

A very different choice from the other heroes, a Doctor Strange game would be very interesting for Marvel to try. The character has been showcased as one of the most powerful sorcerers, knowing a variety of different spells and abilities.

While Marvel could tackle a Doctor Strange title in a number of different ways, the best way to do so would be to start with the origins of Stephen Strange becoming the Sorcerer Supreme and developing his skills.

This could allow the player to develop and learn spells over time, with progression occurring through a skill tree. The player could focus on what spells they wish to develop, making each player’s gameplay experience different.

The player could fast-travel using portals, travel across different dimensions by flying with his cloak, and battle different mystical foes. Marvel has a number of foes they could use for the game including Nightmare, Dormammu, Baron Mordo, and Mephisto, among many others.

The rise of the Sorcerer Supreme would make for an interesting game and allowing players to select the spells they learn would make for a unique gaming experience and a fun way to get replay value out of the game.
