Zendaya

Another actress who started their career on Disney Channel is Zendaya, one of the best young actresses working today. The 27-year-old American actress and singer made her television debut on Shake It Up, which was followed by the starring role in K.C. Undercover, both Disney sitcoms.

Seeing success at a young age, Zendaya became a popular celebrity with younger audiences, but it wasn’t until she joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as MJ that she saw mainstream recognition. Zendaya appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, all of which were financial successes and catapulted her to true stardom.

In 2019, Zendaya’s biggest project to date premiered on HBO, and of course, that would be Euphoria. The actress plays a struggling drug addict in high school named Rue, and her incredible performance has earned her two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. Euphoria is one of HBO’s most-watched shows ever, and Zendaya is expected to reprise her role in the forthcoming third season.

As expected, Zendaya is also a very in-demand actress, but if her IMDb page is any indication, Euphoria season 3 might be the only title she has slated to film right now considering Dune: Part Two and Challengers are already completed. Does that mean she has time to take on another huge role as Laurie Strode in the Halloween series? Perhaps.

There’s no denying Zendaya’s talent. She does such a fantastic job bringing both humor and devastation to a role, and she’s proven she can play very complicated characters. Honestly, I would watch anything she stars in, she’s just that good. She hasn’t really done horror before, so Halloween could be the perfect opportunity for her to join the genre.
