Whether you agree with this ranking or not, one thing’s undeniable: in the echoing halls of Netflix horror, Mike Flanagan’s voice is a hauntingly unforgettable one.

If there’s one name in the horror world that’s been sending shivers down our spines and making us double-check under our beds for the last few years, it’s Mike Flanagan. A modern master of the macabre, Flanagan is to horror what Spielberg is to adventure and has managed to carve a niche for himself, especially on Netflix. The platform that has been graced (or should we say haunted?) by Flanagan’s fantastic adaptations one after the other.

In the past ten years, we’ve seen Flanagan unleash his terror tactics on the platform, giving us sleepless nights and jaw-dropping did-that-just-happen?! moments. While he’s got up a number of hair-raising movies as well, we’re going to focus on the five Netflix shows that have particularly struck a nerve with audiences worldwide. The latest to join the chilling catalog is his absolute masterpiece of an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s various short stories in a series called The Fall of the House of Usher.

So, fellow horror enthusiasts and Flanagan fans, turn the lights down low, and let’s do what must be done – rank every Netflix show that Mike Flanagan blessed us all with.

There will be spoilers for all five shows, so please read at your own risk.
