When does WWE Crown Jewel 2023 start? Who will win the matches and why? Find out right here.
The World Wrestling Entertainment superstars always put on a good show at Crown Jewel. A lot of it has to do with the WWE sending their best stars to represent the company. This Crown Jewel will be no different. Popular wrestlers like Seth “Freakin'” Rollins, Rhea Ripley, and Cody Rhodes, will all have matches. Then, of course, there’s John Cena who always gets the crowd pumped.
Each of the matches have been built up for weeks if not longer. That means, not only will the wrestlers perform, there’s a story behind each of the matches. The latter is a big contributor to how well-received the performance is.
Here’s how you can watch WWE Crown Jewel live and online and predictions for each match.
Be advised, the card could change at any time. Things like injuries, behind-the-scenes issues (real and Kayfabe), and more could affect the number of matches and who appears.
WWE Crown Jewel 2023 start time
WWE Premium Live Events used to take place on Sunday nights, but in recent years, they have become a staple of Saturday nights instead. Crown Jewel will continue that strategy, as the event airs this Saturday. However, it will be a little bit earlier than usual, so be sure to take that into account if you plan on watching it this weekend.
WWE Crown Jewel kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 4, 2023. If you’re watching on the West Coast, it will begin at 10:00 a.m. PT. Its kick-off show will air an hour earlier in both time zones.
If you’re watching in the UK, the event will begin at 5:00 p.m. GMT.
WWE Crown Jewel 2023 match card and predictions
Sami Zayn vs. JD McDonagh
Predicted Winner: Sami Zayn
There’s no way Sami Zayn loses this match. This isn’t a knock on JD McDonagh. He’s just not going over Sami at Crown Jewel. It’s really that simple.
Speaking of simple, this will probably be exactly what it needs to be: An entertaining bout in which Sami emerges victorious. Nothing more, nothing less.
Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest
Predicted Winner: Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes has been on a roll this year and it won’t stop now. Damian Priest getting a win wouldn’t be shocking since he’s been losing a lot in singles competition. However, that seems like the point. Losing at this stage adds more tension to the Judgment Day.
Damian Priest should have a bright future due to the Money In The Bank contract, so he doesn’t need a win over Cody right now when the Judgment Day has other things going on.
WWE Women’s Championship
Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair
Predicted Winner: Iyo Sky
Iyo Sky cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase and pinning Bianca Belair shocked the world. Unfortunately for Belair, she’s going to lose again here. Yes, Bianca is back and ready for redemption, but it just doesn’t seem like it’s time for Iyo to lose her title.
Nevertheless, Bianca Belair has proven people wrong time and again. Perhaps she’ll pull off a victory, so we’re not ruling it out altogether. Still though, Iyo Sky’s time is now.
John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa
Predicted Winner: John Cena
Initially, this writer had Solo Sikoa winning this fight. Then, he realized something. The people in attendance want to see Cena win his first singles match in years. Being the smart business person that he is, Triple H will make that happen.
Sikoa has been booked as a monster and even though a loss to Cena isn’t ideal, if he goes down looking strong, his momentum should survive that defeat.
United States Championship
Rey Mysterio (Champion) vs. Logan Paul
Predicted Winner: Rey Mysterio
WWE fans probably hate to admit that Logan Paul is a great sports entertainer. They will, however, admit that he and Rey Mysterio are going to tear the house down.
No matter how good Paul is, at the end of the match, Rey Mysterio will still be United States Championship. Logan Paul isn’t a full-time wrestler and Ricochet won’t let him leave with the title.
Women’s World Championship
Rhea Ripley (Champion) vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Zoey Stark
Predicted Winner: Raquel Rodriguez
Rhea Ripley has been the big dog on Monday Night Raw for months. She’s been called the leader of the Judgement Day, the reason people watch Raw, and one of the most dominant wrestlers in the WWE. That being said, the WWE seems to be pushing Raquel Rodriguez.
The sad part is Rhea can leave Crown Jewel without being pinned. The good news for Ripley fans is she can say she lost her title while still saying she wasn’t pinned.
World Heavyweight Championship
Seth “Freakin'” Rollins (Champion) vs. Drew McIntyre
Predicted Winner: Drew McIntyre
One of the most disappointing moments for Drew McIntyre was not getting to win his world title in front of an audience. Beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania should have been his crowning moment. The crowd would have gone wild and he’d be king. That missed opportunity will be rectified at Crown Jewel. Seth Rollins loses this match.
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship:
Roman Reigns (Champion) vs. L.A. Knight
Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns
Lastly, we come to two of the hottest superstars in the WWE, LA Knight and Roman Reigns. LA Knight merchandise is a top seller, the crowd is saying “YEAH!” every chance they get, and he’s done it by putting in more work than most. Sadly, it’s not his time. Roman Reigns is still the hottest thing in the WWE.
Roman Reigns will leave Crown Jewel still as the “reigning, defending, and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion”.
