Thea Queen and Roy Harper

Show: Arrow

Few couples in the Arrowverse have more history than Thea Queen and Roy Harper. The two began a relationship as teenagers, which neither one expected since they came from different worlds. But it wasn’t long until they saw that they were also quite similar, and from there, a romance blossomed.

Thea carried on Roy’s legacy as Arsenal, donning his red hood to become Speedy after he left Star City the first time. She needed that outlet at a time when she was struggling. Even when he wasn’t there, he was there for her. And she returned that favor, helping him out of a dangerous situation when he returned years later.

Thea and Roy grew up together, working together at Verdant and becoming crime-fighting heroes during and throughout their relationship. Yes, they went their separate ways on multiple occasions, but the thing about “TheRoy” is that they always found their way back together. There is no clearer example of that than the series finale in which they came together again in the wake of Oliver’s death, helping each other through their grief and deciding to get married. It was the possibility of a happy ending for them that they deserved.
