The Loki season 2 finale left fans on social media in a frenzy reacting to the Loki God of Stories twist. Here are some of the best reactions.

I’d ask you how you’re doing, but if you’re a fellow Marvel fan I think I know the answer already. The Loki finale left us feeling all the feels as it packed so much into its 58-minute run-time. Yes, the episode might not have featured a post-credit scene, but it did feature one of the greatest character development moments in the entire history of the MCU.

Warning: As you can expect, there are spoilers ahead from the finale of Loki season 2 ahead! 

In the final episode of Loki season 2, Loki realizes that the only way to protect the timelines and allow those he cares about is if someone stepped up to personally be the keeper of the timelines. After spending the season trying to figure out what he wanted, Loki realized that it was to give his friends the chance at life they deserve and for them to simply get a chance at happiness.

Loki realizes that to protect the timelines and the people he loves, he must sacrifice himself which sees him finally realizing his Glorious Purpose and becoming Loki God of Stories. It’s a moment that has left fans truly speechless on social media and praising the episode as some of the best storytelling the MCU has ever told.

Marvel fans lose their minds over Loki God of Stories

While there had been a lot of speculation about Loki becoming the God of Stories, the season 2 finale saw this storyline come to fruition in a truly glorious manner. Marvel fans were quick to take to social media to praise the episode and its incredible storytelling which left fans reeling and celebrating Loki’s character growth.
