After the main credits for the movie begin to roll, Marvel sneaks in what is arguably one the greatest post-credit scenes Marvel has included in a film for some time. Now, once the post-credit scene comes to a close, it is safe to head out and leave the theater as there is no end-credit scene in The Marvels. After the full credits roll, the Marvel logo appears and the movie officially ends without any additional teases or even a title card promising that a character will return.

Of course, we would have loved a second scene; however, The Marvels post-credit scene is so perfect that there honestly would have been no topping it. My jaw literally dropped watching that scene unfold and it leaves fans with so many questions to ponder, as well as a sense of excitement about what’s to come in the MCU.

Following that post-credits scene up with another clip would have been a daunting task and Marvel made the right call in selecting that scene to be the last thing audiences see before leaving the theater.
