9. Batwoman – Kate Kane

The Bat-Family was a long time coming to the Arrowverse. For years, we had hoped that the likes of Batman, Robin, or Batgirl might show up on The CW and our wish was finally granted when Batwoman was greenlit. With that, DC Comics’ modern revival of the character finally spread her wings on television, and for a moment, it was glorious.

Kate Kane is as big a badass as they come. She’s a woman of few words and a force to be reckoned with in just about all fields. That came across quite quickly when she tackled foes on the streets of Gotham City and when she was battling Shadow Demons during Crisis On Infinite Earths. Perhaps her most impressive showdown was against Alice’s men in the eighth episode in a desperate bid to stop her villainous sister. The fight choreography in that particular scene was incredible.

Batwoman is a lot like Batman in that she’s an incredibly skilled combatant and could easily take you down in a fistfight. It was exhilarating to watch her do that, and we just couldn’t get enough of that. Unfortunately, we didn’t get enough of it either, as Ruby Rose’s Kate left the show after the first season.

Nevertheless, it was an experience to see her in action.
