2. Sara Lance – White Canary
After the Queen’s Gambit went down in the South China Sea, everybody thought Sara Lance had been lost and was dead. However, much like Oliver Queen, she managed to survive and even joined him on Lian Yu for quite some time. Following the crash, Sara was trained by the League of Assassins and proved to be an incredibly dangerous killer during her time with the League.
When she returned to Starling City and revealed herself to her family, she began fighting crime as the Black Canary. Once again, her training from the League came in very handy as she was able to easily defeat any of the criminals that came her way. Often, they would underestimate her but, she was not to be deterred and used this to her advantage.
After becoming the leader of the Legends of Tomorrow, Sara’s character became more skilled. She was just as dangerous as she ever was, but also a lot wiser as well. It speaks volumes that she’s able to hold her own against a number of super-powered opponents – and even demons – despite having no powers of her own.
