No Time to Die is the fifth of Craig’s Bond films and the most recently released of the series. It premiered in theaters in 2021, after getting delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and it’s the last film featuring Craig as James Bond.

No Time to Die is the second-best of the Craig’s Bond movies. Maybe there’s a bit of recency bias, but I love how this ended Craig’s run as 007. It’s such an incredible story that ties up so many loose ends, draws inspiration from the other movies, and inevitably wraps up this journey.

In the film, Bond is pulled out of retirement and into the world of Spectre, killer nanobots, and so much more. Most of the film revolves around Bond’s mission to stop Spectre, Dr. Valdo Obruchev, and Ernst Blofeld, while also protecting Dr. Madeleine Swann and her daughter, Mathilde.

No Time to Die feels like a James Bond movie, you know? That’s what I love about it. The story gets a little off-kilter at times, but overall, it’s a fitting end for the best 007 so far.
