24. Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold

It might have something of a cumbersome title, but Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold is at least upfront about what you’re going to get from it. It also delivers on that pretty well, merging the worlds of Scooby-Doo and the Caped Crusader together extremely well.

It’s not the first time that Batman has crossed over with the Mystery Inc. gang, but this animated movie’s appeal is that it’s a crossover between Scooby and the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which ended after three seasons in 2011. Naturally, fans of both franchises were intrigued, and the vast majority of them were satisfied with the finished product.

Diedrich Bader is just a delight as the veteran light-hearted Batman, who reaches out to Mystery Inc. for help on a case. No, it’s not the most complex or broody plot for a Batman movie, but it’s fun, and it thrives because it’s fun. If you were watching The Brave and the Bold for complex and broody plotlines, then you were watching the wrong show.

Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold is exactly what it promises; light-hearted fun that will warm the hearts of fans of both legendary franchises.
