The Marvel Cinematic Universe has featured some truly stunning battles over the years, but these 20 rank among the best to ever occur in the MCU!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been serving us amazing stories with our favorite Marvel heroes since 2008. The MCU is known for delivering spectacle after spectacle with incredible visuals, world-building, and epic battles featuring our favorite heroes and villains.

There are so many iconic battles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. From one-on-one fights to large-scale battles to an all-out war. In this list, we will look at 20 of the most epic battles from Marvel films and even some of the best fights from Marvel TV series.

20. Hulk vs. Abomination (The Incredible Hulk)

The second film to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is 2008’s The Incredible Hulk which is the only solo Hulk film that’s connected to the MCU to date. In this film, the character of Bruce Banner/Hulk is played by actor Edward Norton. The Incredible Hulk was a great solo film from Marvel and featured a memorable fight between Norton’s Hulk and Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky aka Abomination. This is probably one of the most intense fights in the MCU.

We see the primal rage and fury in Hulk as he takes on Abomination in a one-on-one fight. The pure strength and unhinged power in both these characters is a sight to behold. Thrilling and exciting and terrifying to see two behemoths go at it using whatever it takes to end the other. If it wasn’t for Liv Tyler’s Betty Ross intervening close to to end of this fight Hulk could have possibly killed Abomination.

The fact that Hulk/Bruce was able to listen to Betty and surrender himself was a brilliant way of showing that his character is not just some brute killing machine but is still human within.
