19. Hela vs. Legion of Asgard (Thor: Ragnarok)

Cate Blanchett is an incredible powerhouse of an actress. She arguably plays one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s greatest villains Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. Blanchett absolutely embodies the role of Hela from the body language down to the voice and personality giving the character more layers to unwrap.

One of the most memorable moments of her screen time is this scene where she is confronted by the legion of Asgard and after giving her villainess monologue takes on hundreds of Asgardians with such ease. Blanchett’s Hela looks phenomenal as she fights her way almost gliding through the mass of soldiers attacking her from all sides even getting attacked form fleets in the air. Hela takes down every single one of them with barely a scratch.

Blanchett made Hela such an interesting character and villain and deserved to have a bigger part in the ever-growing MCU. This is one of the scenes that proves how awesome and badass she is and what a powerhouse of a character she was although her time is short-lived she definitely made an impact.

18. Hallway Fight (The Defenders)

The Netflix/Marvel series were short-lived but left their marks in the MCU in some way. Though they haven’t appeared in any major feature film besides Daredevil in Spider-Man No Way Home, these street-level heroes’ stories deserve just as much merit as their big-screen comrades.

In 2017’s The Defenders, we see Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Daredevil join forces in a limited series for Netflix. Each hero’s solo series was great on their own but when they finally came together it was pure comic book glory.

One thing that these Marvel/Netflix shows became famous for was their amazingly choreographed hallway fight scenes. In this clip, we see The Defenders meet for the first time as they take on The Hand board members and even get a surprising visit from Elektra. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are brute force with their super strength as Iron Fist and Daredevil are more skilled fighters.

It’s so nice to see the different fighting styles of each of the characters and how they work as a team for the first time. Great fight choreography overall. Not too flashy with CGI just a good old-fashioned fight sequence.
