3. Goofy

"“I’m happy that you’re happy!” -Goofy"

When it comes to Disney, the company wouldn’t be where it is without the big three. Among them is Goofy. He was unlike any of the other characters. For decades he wasn’t someone you looked to for depth. However, Goofy was the one that always kept people laughing.

Once Goof Troop debuted, Goofy’s life was altered. He was still, well, goofy, but the change came because he was a father. He had to be more responsible. Goofy held a job, maintained the house, and tried to be a role model for his son, Max.

Unfortunately, Max inherited his father’s calamitous behavior. Thankfully, he had someone who cared enough to guide him through. Even though there were times when he didn’t appreciate it.

2. Donald Duck

"“Aw, phooey! I’m going out there whether you like it or not.” -Donal Duck"

Donald Duck is the all-purpose seasoning of Disney. You can put him anywhere and he’ll make the project better. He’s been the side character in multiple Disney movies and TV shows, and he’s starred in even more shorts. In each of them, he’s managed to shine.

There are times when you may not understand what he is saying, but that doesn’t matter. You get how he feels. Granted, most of the time it’s anger and frustration because Donald usually gets the short end of the stick in everything he’s in. It’s an unfortunate part of his character, but people love it. He may be more iconic than the next character, but number one is a better character.
