6. Jonathan Carnahan

The delightful and mischievous brother to our beloved Evie, there’s no doubt that Jonathan brings a light-hearted touch to the mix of mummies and chaos. With his knack for getting into trouble (usually due to his insatiable curiosity or, let’s be honest, plain greed), he consistently gives viewers a giggle. He’s that misbehaving sibling you can’t help but adore, even when he’s unintentionally summoning the undead.

But here’s the thing, when we’re putting together a top 10 list, it’s like making a delicious soup (it is soup season) with all your favorite ingredients. While Jonathan is the spicy kick in the pot, other characters bring in more depth and complexity to the story.

His journey, while very entertaining and, sometimes pretty relatable, is more about mischief than any real profound personal growth. So, while he’s an essential part of the ensemble, adding flavor and zest, in the grand scheme of things, he lands a respectable sixth.

It’s like being the most loved jalapeño in the soup, or the Cholula sauce you pour in last minute (it can’t be just me, can it?) – essential for the kick, but not the main ingredient.
