3. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

The Star Trek: Strange New Worlds bridge crew has landed in the respectable third spot on my ranking of Star Trek crews, and for good reason!

Led by the hot charismatic Captain Pike (played brilliantly by the one and only Anson Mount), this crew embodies the spirit of exploration and camaraderie. Joined by Spock, Erica Ortegas, La’an Noonien-Singh, Nyota Uhura, Dr. M’Benga, Dr. Chapel, and Una Chin-Rile, their adventures into the unknown, seeking out new life and civilizations, capture the essence of what makes Star Trek so timeless. The crew’s chemistry is incredible, creating a dynamic and enjoyable atmosphere aboard the starship.

With diverse characters bringing their unique strengths to the table, from science officers unraveling cosmic mysteries to the medical team ensuring everyone stays in top shape, Strange New Worlds strikes a balance between classic Star Trek vibes and a fresh, exciting energy.

Over five decades after the original series first aired on our screens, and this franchise continues its incredibly knack for introducing us to beloved new characters and interesting new concepts. The crew of Strange New Worlds might be the most recent addition to that line-up, but they won’t be the last.
