It seems Marvel Studios might be considering renewing Moon Knight, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Ms. Marvel for second seasons on Disney Plus.

While the Disney Plus shows encompassing Phase Four within the MCU have mainly been hits rather than misses, there were problems in terms of managing pace in its narrative structure whilst maintaining high production value as “mini-movies” within a limited series format.

As per ComicBookMovie.com, a rumor has gone out from scooper Daniel Richtman in which he disclosed Marvel Studios is discussing the renewal of Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Moon Knight for second seasons.

Kamala Khan has recently made her appearance in The Marvels, following her own show Ms. Marvel, tying in with the aforementioned Nia DaCosta-directed film.

Moon Knight’s first season left off with Marc Spector and the Steven Grant personalities being free of the Moon God Khonshu, whereas, their more ruthless third alter – Jake Lockley – still remains under the deities’ servitude.

As for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the series saw Jennifer Walters break the fourth wall to do a re-do of her own ending, which resulted in her being able to hook up with Matthew Murdock aka, Daredevil, being able to be She-Hulk again, and meeting Dr. Bruce Banner’s son, Skaar. Walters was rumored to appear on Captain America: Brave New World, but things have changed.

Needless to say, there are still more stories to be told from the three shows if Marvel were to order second seasons.

Marvel Studios is changing its approach to Marvel TV

Following the creative overhaul of Daredevil: Born Again with head writers and executive producers, Matt Corman and Chris Ord along with directors for the remaining episodes that were not filmed have been let go, Marvel Studios have decided to go with a different strategy in the development and production of their shows as a whole. Looking at Born Again closely, as less than half of the series was shot; producers have noticed it just was not working.

While Corman and Ord will still be credited as EPs, they were replaced by The Punisher scribe, Dario Scardapane, as showrunner while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will direct the remaining episodes of the first season.

Moving forward, gone are the days of an entire series being shot and putting things together like a jigsaw puzzle in post-production while chunks of episodes are left on the cutting room floor while relying on pricey reshoots to solve the problem. The showrunners will adhere to a more traditional way of producing scripted TV that mixes standalone stories and arcs that make up multiple seasons in addition to pilot scripts and series bibles being written.
