If you enjoy unwinding with a trip to the movie theater, there are a lot of amazing movies set to hit theaters across the new year. All of the big studios are preparing to roll out some major blockbusters over the span of the year giving moviegoers plenty of options to choose from.

Sony is planning to release three films from its corner of the Spider-Man franchise with Madame Web, Kraven the Hunter, and Venom 3. Marvel is looking to make a splash with Deadpool 3 which will bring back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, marking his first MCU appearance. Meanwhile, DC is bringing Lady Gaga into the fold as Harley Quinn in the sequel to 2019’s Joker, Joker: Folie à Deux. And these are just superhero movies coming our way.

Dune: Part Two, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, A Quiet Place: Day One, Inside Out 2, Despicable Me 4, Beetlejuice 2, and Wicked Part 1 are just a few of many other can’t-miss movies making their way to movie theaters in 2024.

Needless to say, 2024 is going to be a big year for movies which is why it’s wild to think that the year was originally intended to be even bigger before the actors’ and writers’ strikes led to the delay of several movies.

Due to delays, many movies won’t be coming out next year as originally planned including these major blockbusters.
