Thunderbolts
Marvel Studios was among the many studios hit hard by the strikes which has forced the studio to delay several of its 2024 blockbusters including its rag-tag team-up flick: Thunderbolts.
Prior to the strikes, the plan was for Thunderbolts to be released in December 2024; however, due to filming delays, Thunderbolts has been pushed back to July 25, 2025. The bad news is that we won’t get to enjoy the movie in 2024, but the good news is that the movie is sure to make a splash at the box office in 2025 as a flashy summer draw. After all, the movie has an all-star cast!
While the details surrounding the plot of the movie remain unknown — shocking, right?! — the movie will bring together an interesting group of heroes from all corners of the MCU. Among those confirmed for the cast are Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Wyatt Russell as John Walker aka U.S. Agent, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, and David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian.
With a cast like that, we’ll be seated no matter the plot.
