8 truly awesome TV shows to watch before the end of 2023

There are only a few weeks left in 2023. If you’re looking for something to watch before the end of the year, this is the list for you. Overall, the year has been full of a ton of good shows, but there have only been a handful of what I’d consider truly awesome shows this year.

For this list, we looked back at all the shows released this year and picked the seven shows you should have watched earlier this year, along with one selection that hasn’t premiered yet but will surely be one of the most popular shows of the year when it’s all over.

Let’s get the list started with the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series to air, Loki. The second season premiered on Disney+ this fall and ended on the highest of highs.

1. Loki

Loki was one of the first MCU shows teased to premiere on Disney+ way back in the early stages of the streaming service. The first season of the series premiered on Disney+ in June 2021. The second season of Loki premiered in October 2023, and it’s probably one of the best MCU shows or movies of 2023, if not the best MCU show or movie of the year.

In the series, Tom Hiddleston is back as Loki after creating a new timeline following the events of Avengers: Endgame. I’m sure you remember it well! The series goes wild from there!

There are 12 episodes of Loki available to watch on Disney+ right now, so you can definitely finish the series well before the end of the year. And, you should! It’s so good. The first season started a little slow, but the second season is incredible television! I can’t wait to see what’s next with this story.

Ending 2023, it’s unclear what’s next for Loki and if season 3 will happen. I think it’s safe to see this is not the end of these characters.
