The Witcher is easily one of the best fantasy shows of the year. The third season premiered in June 2023 on Netflix, and it’s so good. I won’t lie; the first two seasons of The Witcher were not that good. They each had incredible moments, but the pacing let the story down. That’s just not the case with season 3. It’s really good!

The Witcher follows Geralt of Rivia through the Continent as he becomes involved in wars between Nilfgaard, Cintra, Redania, the elves, and others. Henry Cavill stars in the first three seasons of The Witcher as Geralt, but he has left the series following season 3. Liam Hemsworth will don the white wig in season 4 and probably beyond as Geralt in the Netflix original series.

The Witcher is already renewed for season 4 and (allegedly) season 5, which is rumored to be the final season of the series. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that The Witcher season 4 will be released in 2024. It’s looking more like a 2025 release.

You have a lot of time to watch The Witcher before the new season is released, but it’s definitely worth your time to watch before the end of the year.
