4 movies that will probably flop in 2024

There are a lot of big movies set for release next year but these particular films are in danger of flopping at the box office. 

What a year 2023 was for cinema. The Guardians of the Galaxy said farewell, Batman returned, and we witnessed the origins of Willy Wonka. There have been so many cinematic highs, and also some lows, as audiences watched an abundance of movies come and go over the past 12 months.

There was some unfortunate history made at the box office too, as The Marvels became the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first movie to flop, while the decade-in-the-making The Flash suffered a similar fate, leading audiences to question whether the theory of “superhero fatigue” is actually a real thing.

With all of that in mind and a host of new movies to come in the next 12 months, it gives us the opportunity to look ahead and think about some of the highs and lows of the movies in 2024. Which of the upcoming films could find themselves in a similar predicament to The Marvels or The Flash?
